3D simulation toolbox
Matyskiewicz, Jiří ; Babinec, Tomáš (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This project deals with the design and implementation of the extensible programmable environment intended for the creation of various 3D simulations, specifically targeted for testing of the algorithms and creation of applications from the field of computer vision and robotics. Environment VISIMBOX was implemented in c# programming language and uses OpenGL as back-end for hardware accelerated rendering.
Computational analysis of pressurized water reactor core behaviour using PARCS code
Novotný, Filip ; Ing. Jan Frýbort, Ph.D., KJR FJFI ČVUT v Praze (referee) ; Katovský, Karel (advisor)
The Master Thesis performs search concerning advanced small and medium power light-water reactors’ designs, including different possibilities to gain a license for their development and operation. The work covers the principal theory about the area of neutronics calculations, principal equations and simplifications. There are several different methods for solution of neutronics calculations. The thesis gives an overview of two principal groups of codes – deterministic methods and Monte Carlo method. The survey shows computational codes examples based on mentioned methods. The computational code PARCS is chosen for further study, which contained description of the input and output file, process of the model creation and conditions for neutronics calculation the of selected reactor design. Based on these facts, the transient calculation has been prepared within the thesis. Thee analyses are described – reactor emergency shutdown, reactor shutdown with stuck group of control and emergency shutdown rods and reactor shutdown with faulty reaction of emergency shutdown rods.
New technology of forming metal sheet part
Blažek, Miroslav ; Kopřiva, Miloslav (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
The Diploma thesis deals with geometry calculation and design tools for the functional parts to eliminate the spring-back of the irregular shaped sheet metal. In this thesis there is shown one of the possible ways for 3D modelling in the recent engineering company.
Production and grinding/sharpening of cemented carbide tools
Prokeš, David ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis concerns the description of rotary tools made of cemented carbides. Ce-mented carbides appear as wide range tool material with reference to ductility, hardness of material and relatively low cost. New knowledge of cemented carbide manufacturing has still improved mechanical characteristics of this material. Tools made of cemented carbides are made on modern 5 axis CNC tool-making grinder machines which can be easily set with grinding parameters and interaction with measuring tools for quick parameters changeover. All of these qualities are suitable for serial and also piece tools production.
